Overall A Wonderful Place to Live

We have lived at Autumn Ridge for almost a year now. I do not have any major complaints about management or maintenance. We had a problem with the dryer (it was taking too long to dry clothes) when we first moved in and they seemed to have trouble figuring out the problem, but it was finally resolved. As far as management, they are very friendly, courteous, and respond promptly to any questions we have. We have a one bedroom apartment and it is perfect for my husband and I. The bedroom and the closet are large. The living room is perfect and the fireplace really helps out during the winter months. Parking is normally not an issue. It can get busy on the weekends, but that's not really an inconvenience. The only noise problem we have is that we live near the fire department and that can get a bit annoying at times. The patio space is great and the kitchen appliances seem to work fine for their age. We have not had any issues with our neighbors. We will be moving because we plan to purchase a home closer to our jobs. The pool is well maintained and a wondeful ammenity during the summer months. Autumn Ridge is overall an above average apartment community.

I've read the other reviews and perhaps those negative reviews have more to do with the persons "standards" than with the community itself. As with all apartment communities, you will sometimes hear your neighbors, kids will be out playing, etc. I have never encountered a rude person, whether adult or child, while we have been living at Autumn Ridge. And yes, you are going to have a small mailbox (since when did that become an important factor in getting an apartment, perhaps opening a post office box would fix that issue). When living in an apartment community you are going to have to deal with a whole new set of issues. Apartment living can not be compared to living in a single family home and you should not expect such.
