We have lived at Autumn River for almost a year now. The apartment is very nice but there are def. some things that could be improved.

The Good:
- Beautiful landscaping
- Maintenance Staff (Not Office Staff) is awesome. Give them 24 hours and your problem will be fixed.
- You can pay your rent online. (You will do anything to avoid the office staff)
- ALWAYS a parking spot right outside your building.
- Carwash on site. FREE.
-Vollyball pit
- Free grills located throughout the complex.

The Bad:
-The Office Staff. Jane is the worst. She is not friendly, not helpful... and downright rude to your face. She will not help you at all. If you make the mistake of entering the Rental Office while she is speaking with someone else, expect the "stare of death" from her. Ask her to get your package from the mail room, expect rolling eyes and a sigh of disgust. Brian is much nicer and more helpful. Always glad to speak with him.
-SPIDERS. Every ceiling, stairway, roof, doorway, light, and even your mailboxes will be surrounded by bug huge nasty spiders. Your porch/deck will be invested with them. Autumn River does nothing about them. You will be dodging spiders and webs just to get your mail and enter your apartment. It is a serious issue.
-Rent increase. We applied on a Wednesday. Approved on a Thursday. Signed the lease on Friday. The rent went up $25 from Wednesday to Friday. They are con artists. They want every last penny from you. When your lease expires, your rent is guaranteed to go up by at least $30. It's a big sham.
-Parking. They let people park their boats and RVs in the lots, which makes the parking lot even more narrow. Also, it does not help that people drive very very fast with no care for anyone else.

All in all, we enjoyed our time here but we're moving out for something better. Good for people on a budget who aren't used to anything fancy. I'd say 2 stars out of 5.
