Not what a new place should be

Years at this apartment: 2002 - 2002
 
Since we've moved in, there have been at least 3 breakins (within 6 months). Due to these, our ammenties and priveleges have been changed or limited with no reduction in rent. people are moving out in the middle of the night with no forwarding addresses. property is being damaged, etc. we want to move but are afraid that we'll have to pay outrageous fees to get out of the lease. this is not a safe environment!!!
