When I came to the area, I was totally taken aback by the Beckanna. It is truly a unique complex. Here are some things to consider before moving here:

Pros-Hotel-style layout (if you like that sort of thing), well-kept landscaping, pool table, outdoor concerts (Third Thursdays from Apr-Oct) and other community events, great location, and awesome staff.

Cons-Pets pee in the back elevator at times, no washer/dryer connections, too pricey for the space (other apartments offer more space for less), no central heat or air, window units are noisy, stairs in the back of the complex can be hazardous, and some of neighbors had bad water leaks.

If you are looking for community events, friendly staff, and a unique complex, then the Beckanna has what you want. If you are looking at the price, there other communities that have better amenities and larger layouts for less than the Beckanna. Hope that helps.

It is always loud because they are always having to fix and repair everything. This is a super old building and if you are a late sleeper. Look elsewhere. The building is not meant for families. They want rich 20 somethings. Lots of ---- in the place too.
