When my roommate and I first got this apartment we were very very happy to be out of the last dump we lived in and in a nice, affordable place that was quiet and right next to the forest and the lake. It was okay for a few months and then I started seeing the bugs. Spring brought the bugs out in the hundreds. I used to name the roaches I saw them so often. There were HUGE ants everywhere, especially the bathroom. The scenery from the deck was nice, but you'd have to watch out for big big spiders that liked to get inside. The lake was nice, but there was a series of rapes/assaults there one year that made me wary of the place. Six months later and there was a leak around one of my windows I told maintenance, but it just got worse and worse until finally mold started to grow. Maintenance would come in, putz around the window, tell me they were going to fix it, but never did. Eventually I had to threaten to sue them if they didn't fix the window. Needless to say, I moved out shortly after and never looked back.
