I just recently bought a new home, and prior to that had been leasing a townhome in hedingham. Apparently they are now just strictly selling and no longer leasing homes. The real estate agent I was dealing with said that Hedingham is one of the top ten worst places in the Raleigh area for resale. I should also comment that the leasing/selling agents are very unprofessional and don't even pretend to have your best interest at hand. Oh yeah and forget about getting your deposit back, they tried to charge me an extra $700 dollars for 'clean up, etc.' as they put it after I had been leasing for 4 years. Also, the community as a whole seems low class at best, a lot of loud rap music, domestic disputes, and 1 or 2 gunshots, not sure if they came from with the hedingham limits.

I recently bought a home after I leased in Hedingham for over a year, and I am very happy. The office staff was very helpful, and did everything they could to help me get settled in my new home. They even helped me move! I find it hard to believe that the agent working for the company told you it was the worst place for resale, if so, why did you buy it? I cleaned my place before I moved out, and I got all of my deposit back, including my pet deposit! The only reason a place would keep your deposit is for pet damages, if you smoked a lot in your house, or if you did not clean the place. Have you talked to the office about the charges? They are really nice and easy to deal with. I'm not sure why you say they are not leasing, my friend just rented a one bedroom. I have never heard gun shots, and remember you do live close to downtown. I think this is a great place to live, and I live alone and feel very safe. You must have liked something to have rented here for 4 years and to purchase here too. Sorry you did not have a good experience, mine was great!
