Despicable management

I despise Kenney properties because they got money from me in a dirty way. I almost moved to Brookefield apartments but I had to cancel shortly after my application was approved because of financial problems that my wife and I didn?t have at the time of submitting the application. The Brookefield manager denied giving us back the 200 dollars we had given them as deposit because they have this dirty clause in their application saying that if you back out after three days since you submitted the application they keep the deposit. So I gave these (I would type the worst expletive you can imagine here but I don?t so they can?t sue me for libel) 240 dollars for nothing. They actually have the courage to argue that they lost more than those 200 dollars because of us cancelling the application, which is a repulsive lie because all the money they spent preparing that apartment serves as well for the next resident, so they didn?t lose anything. I hate these people and I only wish them the worst.

This is normal. When you commit to rent, the unit is taken off the market and other prospective renters are told that the unit's not available. Lucky you weren't held to the entire lease term. |
