Clean Apts, Good Neighbors From: FooFoos Date posted: 7/22/2008 Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2004   I lived there 2003 - 2004, and would highly recommend this community. It was quiet - even when the weather was warm, when other apartments tend to get loud. The people who live there are a bit older (and I don't mean old; I just mean not 21), which is refreshing. Lots of professionals. No parties in the parking lot, yelling in the breezeways, etc. The neighbors tend to be respectful of each other. There was one apartment while I was there that was rented to some young party animals, who used to congregate on the balcony and go "woo-hoo" way into the night. I complained, and mgmt told me that other people had complained too; they told me that they had already served the people with a couple of warnings and were getting ready to ask them to leave. Management doesn't tolerate that kind of nonsense. It wasn't long before they were thrown-out. If you're 18 - 21 and looking for a place to go crazy, this isn't it. But if you have to work during the day, and you want peace when you come home at night, then this is the place! Not only is it quiet, but I had not a single maintenance problem the whole time I was there. I know I was there only a year, but in other apts I've had multiple issues over the course of one year. Not at Brookefield - not one time did I have to call about anything (except the people described above). It's nothing special - no crown molding, hardwoods, etc., but it is very well-kept and clean - not a single bug, spider, or even silverfish. I only left because I took a different job that required moving away from Raleigh for awhile. I highly recommend this property.
