I've lived here for over two years now and would have moved out a lot sooner if I could afford a nicer place.

The pros: Cheap rent, no pest problems, friendly, abeit elusive management, and (mostly) friendly neighbors. The apartments are nice and roomy.

The cons: This place is trashed. There is grabage everywhere, rotting food left in the stairs, piles of chicken bones, used sanitary pads, and broken glass by the dumsters. Used condoms on the pavement and just about everywhere else! They had to tear out the kid's little playground cause at night it was being used for... well... you get the idea. It smells horrible all the time. Kids run around unsupervised, and I have caught them several times hitting my car with sticks. At night cars sit in the parking lot, blaring music loud enough to shake the building. The walls are paper-thin, you can easily hear your neighbor's converstations, and forget about trying to sleep if they still have their TV/radio on- immpossible.

The ownership and management has changed three times in the two years I have been here, and each one makes a meager effort to clean the place up, only to give up and sell it at loss. There are definitely drug deals going on in the complex, though I have learned that the dealers won't bother you if you just pretend you don't see them. It can be kinda scary sometimes late at night, but it is better now than it was a year ago.

No break-ins are car-theft that I know of... so if you don't mind the smell or noise it's an alright place to live.
