This complex reinforces all of those reason you hate to live in apartments. The apartments are leaky. Our bedroom window pours water when it rains. The maintenance people love to come in to the apartment to "check the A/C unit" but they don't actually do anything. We checked the air filter the night after one such visit and it was covered in dust. Forget about getting any sleep. We are right next to the "party room" and it is used every weekend. The parties go until 2 in the morning some nights. Who cares about the city mandated noise ordinance. Don't mind the pool "rules" as they aren't enforced. Glass bottles, alcohol, running, diving, kids running around unattended, midnight swims... doesn't matter. Do what you want. You can even bring your portable grill in and put it under the facade. Oh, and don't leave anything outside your door for longer than a day or you'll get a knock. What else... they charge you $40 for cable tv and $30 for "valet" garbage service, neither of which are optional. We are moving out as soon as we can.

It is really disconcerting that management has not communicated anything to the residents regarding the accidents that have occurred in the community over the last two months. I would have thought they would have at least put up a guard rail along the road going up the hill where the car went into the ditch. That should tell you a lot about how much money management puts into this community.

As a resident, I agree with everything this person has to say. I just wanted to let you know that the valet garbage service is indeed optional as my apartment does not participate.
