When I first moved in this place was terrible! There was a change in the management the first few months of school and there has been a BIG change. The office personnel are always very friendly and maintenence is fast to respond to problems. My kitchen flooded at 3 in the morning and the maintenence staff came right out. The facilities are kept extra clean for the residents. There is a sercurity guard, but he doesn't work every night. If there is a problem there is a 24 hour number to call for emergency service.

There are a few negative things I can say about University House....there is not one flat rate per apartment. I know of other people living in the same type of apartment as me and paying up to $50 less a month. I have tried talking to the management about this but they say it can't be changed because I signed the contract to pay that amount. If I would have known others were getting a better deal...I would not have signed. Also, the walls and ceilings are paper thin! I would live on the 3rd floor and pay the extra not to deal with so much noise.

If you are going to live here, be careful for what you sign to pay....talk to others and find out what they are paying first!
