Everything was new and clean when I moved in, and maintenance issues were usually fixed in timely manner. Wooden stairs are noisy and annoying to hear in the morning. Decent sized bedrooms and baths, but closets are tiny. Internet was slow at times. Main two problems: utility bill and West-tek. Ridiculous overcharges with utilities, considering my roommate and I were hardly home (and when we were, we always conserved energy). Those ads for UHouse that say "Live on your own, not by yourself" should change to "Live with WESTTEK." I think they get off on passing out noise violations and speeding tickets. My roomie got pulled for driving 20 mph, because the UHOUSE speed limit is 15! what the hell. I got noise violations because the girls downstairs kept reporting me and everyone else in the building. ***OK, please understand that this is a college community and most of the residents are gonna party, so don't be a snitch and just deal.*** Also management was a ----- about the trash left behind after parties, but I think they could've cut back on hiring Westtek and extensive landscaping, and spent more money on clean-up crews.


Plenty of amenities, never a problem with the pool or fitness center, but bottom line is its overpriced. I knew living in a 2BR, 3rd floor apartment with utilities meant a higher rate, but damn this was highway robbery.
