Um, not so much....

I've been here for about a year now and I will not be renewing my lease. The apartments are very nice but the walls and floors are paper thin. Everytime my neighbors downstairs watch a movie loud, I can hear it like I'm sitting three inches from the television. Parking on the side to the left is horrible. After 4:45- you have to park a mile away from your home. The people that live here are terribly unfriendly and will even look at your strange if you say "hi." The maintenance staff spends all day riding around on their golf carts and blocking the thruway with them while talking to one another. There is doggy poo everywhere along the outside of the complex (where one might take a walk but far less around the buildings). However, if one is walking a dog- there are several conveniently located dog waste bag stands, complete with trashcans to dispose of the stuff. Mail service is horrible here, the mail carried periodically loses stuff or sends stuff back "return to sender" for no reason. Sometimes packages get lost at the office if you let them sign for them. However, I have always been able to get an answer at the office when they're open, you always get a live person, and the one maintenance request that I've put in was taken care of that day. If you stop by the office, you'll have to hunt to find someone there and the office people are fairly rude at times but I guess you just have to catch them on the right day. The apartments come with free washers and dryers which are nice. They're small but new. From what I understand, the pet fees are $150 per pet and $150 deposit per pet, up to 2 pets.... which are incredibly high. The location is good but being right in the middle of I-40 and I-440 makes it loud there all the time, you can always hear the interstates. There is also a ghetto right around the corner which also makes me afraid, plus the riff raff that live in that ghetto drive by all night long with their music blaring. The gates are always broken but when they work, people just wait for someone else to come in and drive in behind them if they don't have a gate pass. Kind of overpriced for what it is- although a nice apartment and the w/d is included without extra fees.
