In my opinion, the on site manager, Tanja is rude and very difficult to deal with. The apartments look ok, (just ok) but in my opinion are not nearly worth what they charge for rent. The appliances seem to be very cheap, the dishwasher and dryer must be for looks only. One security gate has been broken for about two months and the other never seems to be working properly.
I was interested in renting a garage, was quoted a price and put on a waiting list. After about two months, I asked about the status of that garage and was told that one had recently become available, however, the rent on that garage had also increased within the past week, by 50% more than what I was originally quoted. After speaking with other tenants, I learned that the garage had been vacant for well over a week, therefore it could have been rented to me at the price originally quoted to me.
There is quite a bit more, but let's just suffice it to say, RENT HERE ONLY IF YOU TRULY ENJOY BEING SEPARATED FROM YOUR MONEY. I have already taken several photos and I fear I will most likely have to hire an attorney so that I am not charged unfairly when I leave.
If you want peace of mind, I suggest you do not rent at Jefferson at Cary Towne AKA Cary Towne Park Apartments run by Donathan properties!!!!! Oh, and beware of other people letting their dog poop anywhere near your apartment because it may automatically belong to you if it is within 100 ft of your apartment unit. I wonder if she is DNA testing dog poop to find the proper owner'
