While its not the worst place I've ever lived, its definitely down there. The gate is ALWAYS broken and when the gate IS working, there are the rudest people that stop right in front of it and wait for you to let them in while you struggle to swipe your card!'!' (if not multiple people waiting in the clubhouse parking lot) The gate being there in the first place is a facade b/c the community isn't even fully gated...random people cut through from the surrounding neighborhoods which is scary at night. Speaking of the surrounding neighborhoods, I wouldn't exactly call this the nicest area. The cops have been here several times, cars have been broken into and/or vandalized (but i didn't find that out from the community, it was posted at the mailboxes by the owner looking for any info) and the doggy poop stories are dead on (there are many visible stations but the people here like to leave it for you to step in on the curbs next to where you park). The apartment manager is so unreasonable and has no idea how to handle conflict and tends to take sides. You are forced to get renters insurance (which isn't a bad idea). The hot tub has been broken for I don't know how long but we've never been able to use it. They finally updated the fitness center with some new equipment which is nice. The parking is absolutely horrendous!!! They really need to do something about it. I don't think half the people live here or are on their leases because so many people have moved out of our and surrounding buildings in the past few months, that I know we aren't at full capacity.
