I ve only lived at Cary Towne Park for 3 months and wish I had found ApartmentRatings.com prior to making my decision to signing a lease. Let me first start by saying that the other reports about the manager at this complex are valid. I found this to be true after having gone to her once with a few issues. She has a very flippant attitude toward the residents and problems here at Cary Towne Park and her demeanor is unfriendly and lacks professionalism. As far as the actual property the buildings are very cheaply constructed. They may look nice from the exterior and when looking at the model but once living in them it s a whole different story. You will here every single foot step, cabinet and closet door being shut from the neighbor above you. I ve actually been awakened many early mornings by stomping and had to resort to earplugs. Parking at Cary Towne Park is atrocious. If you would like to park anywhere close to your apartment you should plan on being home in the very early evening hours and not plan to leave. On most evenings I m forced to park in a lot approximately three buildings away from my apartment. As for the gates. I m really not sure what purpose they serve other than to annoy the residents. My definition of a gated community is one that is completely contained by gating / fencing by where no entry by persons from the outside can gain access. This is not the case at Cary Towne Park. The only gates are those that go to the parking lots. Anyone can walk into the property from the surrounding roads or wooded areas. The gates are for the most part always broken but when they do work, resident s guests just wait outside to follow someone through. I actually even overheard a leasing consultant tell someone to do this. I m sure somewhere in the Raleigh / Cary area there is a much more suitable rental property but I would not recommend Cary Towne Park.

This is the most accurate review of this apartment community ever! I had a break in to my car, and they refuse to let me post a note looking for anyone who saw what happened. This place is not safe. The gates are meaningless. They try ot protray this as a gated community, but when something happens they obstruct you from protecting your own property. They have cameras onsite, but when asked to put one in an open parking lot, they refused. They didn't want me to post my note because it would be in plain view, and hurt future residents from moving there. Don't do it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is so true. I'm thinking for getting earplugs myself. I joke with my friends that my bathroom is a community bathroom. When I'm able to hear the guy next door urinate, that is a problem. And as for the stomping upstairs, my husband and I came to the conclusion after the neighbors upstairs moved out and more moved-in, that the problem wasn't the neighbor, it's the structure of the buildings. When we confronted the manager about this, she had nothing to say. She just had nothing to say. They look really nice on the outside and inside, but the struction of the building, makes it an unpleasant place to live due to all the noise. If you want to live here, I suggest buying a really good mattress and live on the top floor period. Needless to say, we are looking forward to our journey else where. A peace of mind is priceless.
