Holy Mother of God do not move here

So me and my 2 other friends moved into this apartment complex May of 08 and moved out June 09. I do not know where to get started. The apartments are somewhat nice (by nice I mean new), but you can hear a lot of noise from other surrounding apartments. Parking is a joke. If you arrive home past 5pm you must park a good 1/10 mile away, which then provides a nice "safe" walk back to your apartment. Now the best part.

The front staff are the most unhelpful, discourteous people in the history of rental property. Rather than acting as helpful landlords, which they should consider themselves to be, they find helping their tenants to be a nuisance (except one, Jen maybe is her name). Here is one instance. After never being late on our rent, I went in to ask a worker if I could have an extra day so my roommate (who was out of town) could mail me his check. The front office girl says, "How is that my problem." There are easily 600 better things she could've said (sorry, that's our policy, etc) and it would've been fine. Finally, the leasing manager, Tanya, a real dreamboat. For moving out, we got charged $60 to clean two bathtubs, $10 for a dirty freezer ( I forgot an ice cream sandwich in there), and about 6 other nitpick things. However, she claimed she was being fair because she didn't charge for a dirty carpet. We also got blamed for being noisy and our parents called when they had no evidence it was us. That was an awesome experience too.

The people in your neighborhood are unfriendly, the front office is unfriendly. This apartment complex is just all around terrible. I beg of you not to move here.

This review is so true and dead on. The front staff people AND maintenence workers do not care one bit about integrity or their residents. We placed a call on a Wednesday night regarding a noise issue on the first floor of my building. The next day, Tanya and the office people tell us that we are lying about the incident. These people on the first floor were drinking alcohol, yelling, and smoking weed. Why would we want to lie about that, when it's a horrible experience for us??? She told us that we should never accuse someone like that. Seriously? Parking is the worst, even though there are gates for this. I'm a small girl weighing barely 105 pounds. I have to walk in the dark, far from my building, because of this problem. I'm scared for my life, as there is a pretty sketchy neighborhood right across the complex. The people who owned the place before were very nice and caring, but that has all changed since May 2008. DON'T LIVE HERE.
