I am actually not surprised by any of the comments that have been made or any of the complaints here at Cedar Springs. I can not begin to tell you how many different Managers and Leasing Agents this place has been through since I have lived here and I have been here three years now.The track record is not good! Anyone can drive by and see we need a paint Job. As far as bugs go Yes "BIG" water bugs and it does not matter how many times the exterminator comes out a month...they still lurk on the decks and get in. There has also been many issues with noise.
If I have an issue I normally have to address it several times. I have had 2 Major water leaks in my apartment since I have been here. It took over a month to get the repairs done for one. The only reason it was done was I threatened not to pay rent until the damage was repaired & needless to say...it was repaired that day. I have to change my own air filters which shocks the hell out of me since this is a "luxury apartment" that I live in. I have noticed a MAJOR change in residents too and it has nothing to do with "Race" either. All you have to do is ask any Police Officer that works this Beat. Look at how many times RPD has been out here in the past few months for noise ordinance, break-in's, vandalism, domestic disputes, etc. Need I say anymore. It is absolutely ridiculous for the residents that have been here the longest especially for the amount of money we pay. I know these new residents pay way less then we do too. That is the only way this place got full occupancy because of the rate they moved them in on. There was never an issue with trash and liter either until recenlty. There is now a serious parking issue. As far as management I think the problem is deeper than Cedar Springs.

I can honestly say Management Now is Trying! (there is an "edit key" so I can always go back and take this part out)if things change.

I PERSONALLY THINK THE PROBLEM IS "Benchmark Property" and I have no respect for the Co. to have let things escalate to this.
