Thank GOD, That my sister found out about this place on apartmentratings.com before even moving in. We were about to rent this apartment from these people, but right from the start they seemed unprofessional. The girl who showed us the apartment we wanted said it was available, but the very next day when I came to give the money orders for the processing and deposit, she said there was a mistake and that she did not have the particular apt available. Needless to say, our confidence in their management ability quickly turned. Then after reading the comments of other tenants, we then made up our mind not to rent here. I then asked for my money back on the deposit, because I knew that the $40.00 application fee was lost, the girl who was working at the time stated that the deposit went for the processing of the application and that we could not get it back.

I know that's not what the girl said who originally rented me the apartment. Anyway, I will try again tomorrow to call her to get my deposit back, and if i don't receive a satisfied answer$$$ I will take the next step, possibly housing authority, small claims or even the news media.
