Could be better, but not too bad...

Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2005
I lived at Clarion during the 2004-2005 school year in the new apartments that they built up on the hill. The amount of parking isn't quite up to par. I usually found a spot to park in, but occasionally I'd have to park on the street or in front of the dumpsters (eeew). The only think that really bothered me about these apartments were the size and noise. I did live with 2 other people, so I guess I shouldn't complain about size, but sometimes it seemed so cramped. And I won't get into the lack of kitchen and cabinet space. And the noise level was my number one problem, you can hear ANYTHING through the walls. You could hear what was going on in the living room in any of the bedrooms (and visa-versa!!!) and if you stay in the room closest to the front door-you can hear EVERYTHING going on outside (even people walking up the breezeway steps).
I know this review is pretty bad so far, but these are the only things that I really thought were bad. The apartments were amazingly new: very clean and updated, no bug problems, and our neighbors were very, very friendly (from the partiers next door to the family beneath us). The area itself seemed pretty safe and is only a short drive or busride to campus. Maintenance was never really a problem and the management was accomodating (and friendly). It really is one of the better complexes for college students. If you've actually read all of this, I really do recommend this complex, just be aware of the noise.
