I have lived here for years and it has been interesting.
When I moved in the management staff was wonderful. They were helpful and friendly and seemed to care about the people who live here. The last two years this is not the case. I have been thinking of moving recently and when I went to ask about turning in my 60 day notice they could have cared less. I am a great resident, i don't cause problems, pay my rent ontime, I try to report problems, I follow the rules, keep quiet and take care of most maintenance issues myself. You would think they would try to keep me here. Guess not. Most of my neighbors have had water leaks for years and they do nothing to fix it. I feel bad for one person, there was a leak in that apartment before they moved in and they continue to LIE saying they didnt know about it. Do they not think neighbors talk to each other' Aparently they are too cheep to pay a real contractor to fix the problem and pass the problem onto the maintance staff here. I have no beef with the maintenance staff. They work really hard and are unbelievably nice and helpful. The new owners seem to only care about collecting rent and upgrading empty apartments. Thats nice for new people moving in but dissapointing for those of us who intended on living here for years to come. Most of my freinds have moved out so Im leaving too. Good luck to the person who moves in after me. Maybe if the management staff would put in half the effort they took to make the 26 pool rules memo, or the 2nd pool hours memo on keeping current resident happy more people would want to stay.
Parking is tolerable, hope you don't have guests. If you have a nice car invest in a garage, Kids play in the parking lot 24/7. I have a lovely dent of a childs bicycle. Caught a kid throwing rocks at a car. Kids were leaning on my car with the parent standing next to him, I was a ----- because I told him to move. I mean really. Your address is your parking #, so everyone knows what car you have and where you live. However the random towing has stopped that is nice.
Noise: I can hear everything my neighbors do. Constant traffic of loud cars and stereos all all hours.
Grounds: Constant trash, pool is not clean, cloudy water and the smell of pet poo around.
Safety: I would get records from the Raleigh PD. They seem to be in the back of the property often.
Construction: Pick a building with a fire alarm, not all of them have them. The apartmens do have sprinklers which is nice. The new roofs are a joke, some still leak.
Maintenance: The roof leaks aside, The maintenance staff is excellent!
Office Staff: They just don't seem to care about their jobs. It's quite sad and dissapointing.
Bugs: Try to get a third floor apartment, less roaches from what I understand. I have been lucky no bug issues.
I hope this is taken as an informative review and not a disgruntled resident. I'm not trying to disscourage future residents. Just think everyone deserves to know what it is really like.

Wow this place seems a mess and I was thinking about moving here. I see if like this all of the reports that have been posted up here I am going to print them out and then move in myself and and have a case with the court system. Then I hope most of the tentats will vget at least some of what they paid for in the apartment because this is crazy
