Overall, CC is a good place to live. Great location...Lake Lynn,commute to RTP, shopping. Tennis courts are nice/lit, as are the streets...(i do hate the speed-bumps though). The price is good for the square footage and general appearance & safety. I have lived in the old 2 bdrm, new 3 bdrm, and renovated 2 bdrm. Old 2 is outdated/ugly. New side is beautiful with vaulted ceilings, open plan, screened deck door, garden tub. Renovated is okay; Carpet was old when moved in, paint/wall/ceiling construction shoddy. Old and new-no insulation-you hear every footstep, dish disposal, bass beat. The vents are very dirty/dusty. Landscaping is lackluster but I never get mosquitoes on the deck. Pools are good but the "spa" is never open. Lots of cute dogs (the girl who not once cleaned up after her dog is gone!) (beware of goose-poop, though) parking is good. Our neighbors have all been nice or just quiet. Lots of kids playing-renovated playground. Kelly is awesome; she always comes to the rescue when there is a leak/no A/C or something major. She is pleasant, quick, and efficient! Ron, the Porter is above par- cleans up, gives dogs tennis balls... Old&new management= extremely rude:demeaning, harsh, extremely sarcastic and hard to talk to: she interrupts, does not write down your requests and rolls her eyes at tenants and employees alike, which I have witnessed more than once. The office girls are nice.
In general, it is a nice community in a good area, so we are staying. (I know people who pay 1300 for rent in cary with all the same complaints)
