My roommate and I lived there for a year during our last year of college. Our apt overlooked the pool, which that was nice, but the people in there throughout the week at 2AM was not! We had neighbors who CONSTANTLY fought and never paid their rent and had domestic violence issues. We called the cops on them probably 30 times while we stayed there. We notified management every time there was a problem and nothing was EVER done about them. Every other apartment in that building could hear them and complained as well, but they were fined, or evicted! The apartment was not safe at all! The lighting in the parking lot is very dim at night when you need it the most, and shrubery encroaches onto the sidewalk, making it unsafe. The layout of this apartment (and most other 2 bdrooms as well) had a HUGE window looking right onto the walkway in front of the door, which is bad for anyone who wants to look into your apartment. Even with window treatments, you can easily see into the apartment, especially at night when you have some light shing out from the room. Once, we watched someone come up to the door and turn the knob to see if it was locked! Many times I would find somewhere else to stay if she was away for the weekend because I felt unsafe to stay there alone. When I went to give my written notice, they acted as if everything was okay, then when I went to give the keys and leave, they said I had never put in a request and that I would be forced to pay 2 more months pay at a higher rate. I refused and told them that I was not going to pay anymore money for this place when I did not feel safe living there. They continually fought with me about it and I told them that it was unlawful for anyone to have to pay to stay somewhere unsafe and that I would have my lawyer call them. They never said anything else about it. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone! They say you get what you pay for, but I would not waste a single dime here!
