It is what it is

Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2008
First, the location is great. Easy access to the highway and Cary. I live in one of the units by 40 and barely hear the expressway from the parking lot. Yes, they did have to replace the polyethylene piping. The process was inconvenient and stressful. However, if they didn't, the pipes could lead to flooding and have been known to break (see the class action lawsuit).
They also required a 90 re-up period which is a pain but that could be due to the new management.
The apartment itself is great. My wife and I have not had a problem and enjoy the excess of storage space in the upstairs larkspur model. The drawback: the master bedroom is right next to the entry way which makes for hearing people enter the next door. We use the "guest" our master bedroom.
I haven't had any problems with the neighbors but it is a free country and people can rent if they have the money.
We would like to use the pool but it is over run with drunkard and "party girls" (even though there is a no alcohol in public place rule in the lease) so we don't go. Not a fan of the management and only really stay here due to the location and not wanting to move for the 5th time in five years. I would consider reuping another year if the price is right.
