When we first moved here we enjoyed it. We decided to upgrade to a larger apartment and in doing that got some horrible upstairs neighbors. They were up all hours of the day and night stomping like elephants. The police were called and management notified on several occasions and they made no effort whatsoever to remove these tenants and we felt tortured for months until they finally one day just disappeared. We feel that these tenants were on drugs and thats why the noise problem was so terrible. We also feel confident they were finally caught during a random inspection of the apartment and that is why they were kicked out. These tenants on several occasions did horrible things such as spitting, vomiting, and urinating on our balcony. The management was not helpful at all and we totally agree with what other tenants have said with regards to the fact they treat us like we are just here to feel the space. Once we are signed into the lease it is irrelevant whether we are happy with the quality of life in the complex. These neighbors were and absolute nightmare and recently I was informed that they were just moved to another location on the property. If they are above you we feel so sorry. We don't believe they are still in the community. As many times as we have been in the management office to speak with them about issues in the complex they still continue to not even know who there tenants are. It truly seems all they care about is getting the apartment rented. Be careful when choosing this complex as when our lease is up we are out of here. And we all know moving is a pain.

I think these people are now my neighbors, or I have some just as you have described. I feel very uncomfortable, and cannot wait until my move out day in April! The people are up at all hours, doing drug deals, stomping around, and I have reported them, but the complex has done nothing to fix it, except tell me they know them and that they would never hurt me. Well, this male living above me is constantly watching me when I'm in the parking lot and I feel very uncomfortable and threatened. I'm not satisfied with Edinborough anymore!

Due to fair houseing there is not much your landlord can do. There is a process that you must follow and do right so they don't get in trouble. You should read the rules of fair houseing one day.
