I have been here for 2 years. I will be leaving on my next lease renewal. We have gotten 2 separate notes on our doors about: car break ins (December 07) and........wait for it.........PEEPING TOMS (Jan 08). This place is a crime ridden ghetto. The complex only tries to make it look good by doing the landscaping for future tenants. They don't keep up any of the items that they offer us and the maintenance men don't exist. They don't do background checks and have let tons of deadbeats in, and the pools are disgusting and for anyone in the county to use. Mothers with 12 kids drop them off for the day and come back later. They also have vanloads of people getting brought from other places to "swim" in the pools.
I saw some people playing tennis on the 2 "lit" courts the other day. Over half of the lights didn't work and the timer was off by 2 hours for the lights.
There are tenants here that are allowed to get away with anything they want.
You can hear your neighbors too well. I hear alarm clocks better then my own. I hear dogs, my upstairs neighbor, and car stereos with so much bass it shakes my windows.
The parking is horrible. If you don't rent a spot in the carport be ready for dings, scratches, and thats IF you get a parking spot even close to your apartment.
This place was nice 2 years ago but the buyout from a big company and the severe cost cutting measures that have been put in place make this complex a place to stay far far away from.
