Years at this apartment: 2002 - 2003
We moved here in the winter of 2002 and were made welcome from the get go. The staff was very attentive and saw to our needs.
The apartments are older, having been built in the 80 s, but the design and layouts are better than some newer apartments being built. Extra large walk-in closets, storage space, and the non-existent noise are the main reasons for choosing here. If you have pets, it is a great place to live. The kitchen cabinets are outdated and worn and some appliances need updating, but that comes with the age.
The complex was recently sold and the new owners have begun major improvements to the property. The new office staff is genuinely interested in your comments and very responsive to your service needs.
We are happy here and recommend the apartments.
One reviewer wrote about bugs and cockroaches. While there are the bugs and spiders around, these are normal for homes and apartments located in a heavy wooded area. As far as cockroaches, the only ones we have seen are the large wood roach that almost every home in the south is going to have if they are located in a pine tree wooded area. I have seen them for years and have learned that if you leave your doors open they just fly in. This is not a reflection on the apartment, but more of the fact that we choose to live in the south with them.
