I love my apartment

My roommate and I have both lived alone prior to moving in together. Therefore, we had lots of odds and ends to fit in to a 2 bedroom apartment. The thing we love the most about our apartment is how spacious it is. Every room in our house is HUGE, especially my closet. Our living room can fit both our couches and a single chair, both our coffee tables, 2 side tables with lamps and a 36" tube TV with room left over to do our workout videos in front of the TV. Our dining table sits 6 with lots of room on either side. As well as barstools to the bar between the kitchen and dining room. There are large windows in every room so there is lots of light and nice shades on all the windows (not the typical cheap shades you see in most apartment complexes). The managers allowed us to paint our walls because they stated they wanted us to feel like this place was our home. Colors on your walls make SUCH a difference.
Our electric bills are insanely small because in the winter time we have only had to turn on the heat a couple times a month on absolutely horribly cold nights. For the most part, our neighbors below us must blast their heat because we open our windows to cool the place down sometimes.
The area is nice and quiet, which can be good or bad depending on the neighborhood you are looking for. the quietness relates to the fact that the stairs are actually built inside your apartment rather than the staircases outside on most apartment complexes. This keeps the noise of conversations by your neighbors down and keeps them from walking by your window to get to their floor.
There is room for parking both my cars and my roommates, plus all of our friends that visit. We've never had an issue with parking.
The apartment complex's gym is rather small, but the location is wonderful and $10 memberships to nice gyms are very nearby. The apartment complex is right across from the mall, walking distance from Harris Teeter, and a cab drive away from Glenwood downtown. It is an excellent location for such an excellent price.
The 2 major down falls are:
1. only overhead lighting is in the kitchen, dining room, and baths. (But lots of sunlight due to the large windows make this OK)
2. no overhead fans. (we get around this by floor fans)

I have recommended this apartment complex to all of my friends and DEFINITELY recommend it to you.
