Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2004
I moved out of here because my roommate graduated and the apartments were too far from NCSU for me to pay > $500 for a one bedroom, but I have been looking for something as nice as this ever since.
I read some of the other reviews about the office staff and it seems like people think they should be their best friend, as well as do their job. I had no problem when I needed something, a package, a replacement laundry card, anything. Fakeness in staff can be annoying, I agree, as the apartment complex I am in now has an INCREDIBLY fake manager, but I had never experienced it at Four Seasons, they were always pleasant...who cares if someone was thinking unpleasantly as long as they acted nicely'' Get a grip.
I LOVED the pool during the weekdays in the summer and I have NEVER used an apartment complex pool, EVER. The location to Umstead Park was a blessing, I would run down Ebeneezer Church Rd. to the park for a really good, quiet, safe(I'm a girl, that is important) run.
I thought the inside (and outside) of the apartments were really nice and don't show much age at all, the kitchen was pretty modern. Very nice for the price.
There was a guy that lived in my building who was psycho about visitors parking in the non-visitor spots. My friends would stop by to pick me up and 5 minutes later he would be out there with his pad about to call the towing company. But there are alot of designated visitor spots and PLENTY for residents and they do tow, more if psycho guy is still there.
The renters there didn't do a very good job picking up after their dogs when I lived there so be careful where you step, but I saw the (REALLY) nice maintenance guy picking it up alllll the time, so this really isn't Four Season's fault, they even have those little doggy stations. I liked taking mine to the field across that little street beside the abandoned furniture store and letting her run around. I don't know if anything is there yet but it was really nice when there wasn't. I don't know if he is still there but the older maintenance guy was GREAT. Most complexes won't let you in your apt if you lock yourself out on the weekend but he was there fast...I don't know what I would have done.
I know this is long but I figured I should give a good one for my favorite complex in Raleigh thus far (I moved here in June 2002 and have lived in 4 different places since then). I haven't even toured anything that comes close.
