decent complex, great location

I've lived in Governor's Point for almost a year now. Management changed recently, which made me nervous, but so far I haven't noticed any effect of this change and the new office staff seems friendly. The few maintenance calls I had to make were handled quickly and professionally. I'm moving out of state for another job but noticed that my rent ($555/month) would have only increased $10/month had I stayed. The complex isn't the newest in town, but the price is good, my appliances all work fine, and my apartment was recarpeted and painted before I moved in. The complex is nicely landscaped and generally very quiet, although I did have to report a neighbor for blaring his stereo late at night; now it's quiet again. The complex is right next to Lake Lynn, especially if you get an apartment facing the lake like I did -- good choice. The lake is great for evening strolls and jogging, and convenient to local shopping. Pets are allowed but I haven't encountered any problems with noise or dog poop (though I don't walk on the lawn). Overall, I'd say it's a decent complex in a great location.
