GP is average- Not luxury but it has it's positives and negatives

Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2009
I have lived here for 2 1/2 years now in a one bedroom. In the two years our rent has increased $50 and that is with 15 month leases, not 12, 6, or month to month as it is more. Along with that though many other apartments are still much more expensive. Lake Lynn is pleasant for walking/jogging, but there are no lights around it at night and potentially dangerous as there has been one assault and possibly more. The office staff is present, but not so much friendly. They have accused us of not paying rent when we did, our music was too loud (but no one was home that whole day), and it seems like they are always trying to get us for something that didn't even occur. Maintenance is prompt and seem to correct the problems that occur as we needed our bathtub recaulked because tiles were falling off and our AC stopped working over the summer also, but they came out the same day. The electric bill seems average being anywhere from $60-115 throughout the year. The tenants around us are mostly friendly and cordial. It is a very diverse group of people from young and old, black and white, heterosexual and homosexual. I would recommend GP for someone looking for an average place to live with a reasonable rent.
