On the plus size, the apartments are good square footage for the dollar and noise has not been a problem for me (top floor). These are apartments may accept section 8 vouchers (I am on a sublease so don't know for sure), so that should tell you a few things...
The maintenance staff is not so good here. I have had a maintenance call out for almost two months for two fire hazards and three other issues of moderate importance. No one has done anything. I guess the maintenance staff is too busy painting doors and riding their go-carts. Also, I had a call out for a satellite dish to be installed and the installer came early and I was not home yet. The maintenance director chased the satellite installer away from my apartment saying "you can't install a dish here." Property companies can not do or say that. They can say you can't mount anything to their property but courts consistently rule that, in the interest of competition (this is supposed to be a non-monopolistic society), apartment communities can not ban the utilization of satellite technology.
This is how I have been treated and I am someone they should want to stay and sign a lease (I subleased)... I would not recommend.
If you like terrible maintenance staff and paying too much for tv, move on in.
And can you say bugs' My back door is not well-sealed and bugs come right in while the air conditioned air goes right out. My last power bill was over $100 (for 32 days) and I keep the thermostat set on 75 (800 sq foot apartment).
Overall, absolutlely not impressed at all with the staff or quality of apartment.
