Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2006
Let's see where to begin. When moving day came they told me my apartment wasn't ready to move in because they were still not finished putting in the "new" carpet. A week later I finally get to move in and the carpet is all wet from shampooing. I opened the door to the utility closet and you can see years worth of dirty build up on the other side of the door. It was also dirty around the baseboards. So it was very obviously not the new carpet which was supposedly the reason my move-in date was delayed by a week. After a few days I noticed that the carpet in the closet still hadn't dried. I reported it to maintenance and week later they came out and found a broken pipe under floor. I had to live out of the living room for two weeks while they dug up and jack hammered through the concrete trying to find the leak.
There were always problems with bugs especially bees; I would come home daily to 6 or 7 dead bees on the floor of the living room. There were roaches and spiders as well. No matter how often you sprayed they just kept coming.
The stairs are ridiculously loud if any one goes upstairs it is loud enough to wake you up at night. The landscaping is also a problem for me. They spent so much money trying to make the outside look pleasant without fixing problems inside the apartments. Not to mention the landscape guys would be outside the window of my bedroom every weekday morning from 7:30-10:00 with really loud equipment. I worked nights and slept days. I tried to see if the office would either have the landscapers start on the other side of the complex or move me over there so I could actually get some sleep but they wouldn't do either option.
WHen I finally moved out they kept the entire security deposit claiming they needed to replace the carpet again. That's right the carpet they never replaced in the first place, not even after the leak. I wondere how many time s a tenant moving out has paid to replace carpet that only gets shoddily cleaned instead.
I would just avoid this complex all together.
