I've lived at Summit Highland for almost 6 months now and have had nothing but problems! Sure, the neighborhood, grounds, and surrounding areas are very nice, but once you move inside the complex, it's like a whole other world.

When I moved into my apartment, my bath tub and appliances were in terrible shape - crusty, peeling, and rusted. They were so bad, that I had to ask someone to come and reglaze my bath tub, before setting foot into it.

Not too long after, I noticed the constant noise of my upstairs neighbors. I deemed this to be an ordinary level of noise until they started screaming at each other so loudly and for so long, that they ended up having the police called on them. This has happened a couple times now.

The fitness room is really out-of-date. Most of the machines don't work, except for the (one) treadmill.

Finally, the property does not lock its laundry facility, and because it is smaller than the normal size of a walk-in closet and there is nowhere to sit, it is almost impossible to wait with your clothes. About a month ago, someone came in and stole about $300 worth of my clothing. When I reported this to the rental office with a suggestion to lock the facility, I was told that it would not be beneficial, as keys can be copied by anyone!'!' I now have to travel across town to use a laundry mat.

Even with all the problems, I would have to say that, for the most part, the management is very friendly and eager to assist. They are very concerned about pleasing their residents.

Overall, I would NOT recommend living here.
