Ok whiney people. I have lived in 3 apartments in this complex over the last 6 years. (I was in a 1 bdrm then got a 2 bdrm with a roomie and now am back in a 1 bdrm) yes the cabinets and appliances are old, yes you can hear the neighbors, yes the the office are less than helpful but people please. You live in an APARTMENT that was built in the 80's. Did you not ask questions before you moved in' Did you not request to see the unit you'd be taking before you signed the lease' How about some common sense people. The office staff can't be blamed for you own ignorance. Ive never had electrical problems in any unit, when my A/C broke last summer maintenance came out on a sunday and had it fixed in a matter of hours, I got new carpet when I moved in even though all I requested was a good cleaning of the old one since I have a dog and wasnt sure how long I'd be staying. By the way when I renewed my lease for another year they happily cleaned my carpet for me. Perhaps the staff is rude becuase you are rude to them. They arent payed to be there at your beck and call... they are there to (wait for it....) rent the apartments. As far as security. if you leave stuff in your car with it unlocked it's gonna get stolen. If you leave your door unlocked someone might enter your apartment univited. Again common sense previals. In six years no one has been attacked or had a home invasion etc. We have police officers living on property ... yeah plural. They know where the trouble spots are and dont live there. If you want a pristine shiny new place go up the street you'll pay twice as much for the same thing and have many of the same problems.

Well I am one of the police officers you speak of and I think the apartments are awful!! Are they quiet? yes!! Are they safe? yes!! But the management office is rude, the maintenacne staff does not seem to have any real understanding of how to preform maintenance work and I would never sign a lease here if I were you. The exteriors are falling apart the interiors are dingy, moldy and poorly repaired. I would love to have given tours of my apartment so you could have seen the white patches on beige paint or the floosr that were coming up in the bathroom and kitchen! Not to mention the nice new carpet when i moved in was poorly installed and was definately a cover up to something, because I had no pets and everytime it would get hot strong odors would emerge from the brand new carpet!! I would not walk from this place I would run fast..... The rent is cheap for the area but you will pay in the long run. I suggest talking with tennants you see in the common areas after speaking to the management staff!!! Before you ever sign on the dotted line. Beware management staff is really nice to you up to the day you sign your lease than your on your own. Good luck you have been warned!

I totally agree. Granted their has been multiple breakins and the office staff is very nice from the start. I would certainly look else where, since this site is being sold. Go Figure.

I stand by what I said... been here 7 years am getting ready to sign another lease and I've and never had an issue. My 3 aparatments while not pristine or new have had no issues except the aformentioned a/c breaking which was fixed quickly and well. Other friends that live here have similar experiences and are very happy. I dont know when these breakins were or where but ive never seen a police response here. I you feel unsafe that's your problem not the complexes becuase it's safe here. Move someplace else ...perhaps the grass will be greener or maybe just more expensive with your same old issues.

For the girl who thinks we are all whining..... I can go down a list of things that have gone wrong after I moved in. I haven't once complained about the old appliances. I have a police officer living above me, and I still feel completely unsafe. My friends car was broken into... it was parked NEXT to our moving van that we were going in and out of!!! I was supposed to have my screens, my screen door and my front door fixed 8 MONTHS AGO! I feel that re-asking 3 times is enough!
