Thank God we only signed a six month lease!
The staff lied about the cost of utilities to begin with. I moved from out of state, and was very surprised to be paying $120.00 per month for electric in the winter, after being told it would cost about $60. We have had a terrible smell from the garbage disposal or the drain pipes. We had to ask three times before maintenance showed up to fix it, and then he "fixed" it by crushing ice cubes in the disposal. The smell returns every three days, and we get to repeat the procedure.
Other maintenance issues where never addressed, and we were told there is a "freeze" on spending for maintenance items, which means our balcony door does not lock because they can't buy the replacement parts. Yet they buy balloons and snacks every weekend to attract new tenants. Hmm...
The staff does not mind lying to get tenants in, and then when problems arise, they tell you they will take care it, but never seem to follow through.
Most of the other tenants are pleasant, with not a lot of noise problems. Parking is bad if you come in late at night, but otherwise OK.
This would not be a bad place to live, if they had been honest, and fixed a few items.
