I had to post something about the changes I have seen here. I'm aware that this site is usually used for people to complain, but I have some positive feedback that needs to be heard. I am a grad student at NCSU and have been living here for almost 2 years now. There have been SEVERAL management changes, however the new group of people are actually getting the job done. It hasn't gone unnoticed by me, anyways, and I've now referred two of my friends to this complex. Here are the changes I've seen over the past couple of months...better landscaping and a cleaner property, friendly and welcoming faces when I walk through the office door, maintenance that is attended to THE SAME DAY (I was very impressed with this) and a noticeable upgrade in the tenants moving in. I'm glad someone finally saw the big picture and acted on it. Keep it going...you guys actually know what you are doing and it shows!

I agree that there have been some major changes, especially as far as maintenance. However, I would not recommend any of my friends to live here. There is no security officer here or any system set in place if something bad were to happen. There has been a gang related shooting 2 units down from me and a domestic fight just below me that the police had to become involved it. It took police and EMS almost 20min to come. I simply don't feel safe here. The first week I moved in there was a homeless man using our pool to sunbathe-- when asked to leave he streaked across our complex (around my building twice) before being chased into the woods by police. I have also called the police because there were, again, gun shots being fired at 2 am. I do not sleep here when my room mate is not home- i feel it's a very unsafe place to be.
