Like the old saying say to each it's own. When I first moved in my apartment last year in March it was ready. When I open the door there was lady in the kitchen cleaning and the carpet was wet. Also there was little maintence work that needed to be done such as ( second bedroom door wouldn't lock , the carpet still had spot on it and you could tell that it needed to be replace, the blinds in the living area was so old that you can hardly turn them and in the bathroom there was no curtain rod) I had to go to Wal mart and purchase a curtain rod for my bathroom. There the years when I have put a work order in it take so long and still does. I know the previous comments states they are doing same day. I haven't seen that happen I put an order in for my AC and mold in the bathroom area and living room and it took them for every to come. I had to make a second call to the office to see it they lost my work order. For month the dishwasher didn't work a maintance man came in while I wasn't home and reported that the dishwasher was working. I had to make a call to the office to the leasing agent to advise that it was working and the maintence mad did a half ass job as usually. My most frustating thing is when you call the office you have the leasing agent( Pam ) who know noithing and is useless. Her reply is always you need to wait and talk to Linda. What is the point of her job is she Pam personal assitant if that's the cause I might as leave a message on the phone. When it was time for me to sign my lease again I spoke to Pam who advise me that they would clean the carpet. After prolong my time to look for some where else to live I had no choice but to sign another lease for 6 months. After signing the lease I call a couple weeks later to schedule to have the carpet clean and was told by Pam that I needed to speak with Linda. Linda, than advise me that they no long clean carpet when you resign the lease . Her response was to me that they have an old machine to do the carpet and they were going to try and do it in house. Don't get me wrong the reason I choose to live her because the apartment was spacious and the price but I didn't care for the outer appearance. Bur we know how the old saying say " You get what you pay for " in this case is so true. Since my stay here at the apartment I have request that AC be check over and over again their is fix is to put spray in the freoene( spray). I call several time to report that in my !bdr w/ a studio I was receiving utility bills max $469.00 a month over the last year I have paid way more than I should have. Recently the last three month my total utility bills average $1069. Last year between Sept and Dec I paid a total of $1700 in utility. ( this is extremely high for such a small apartment of 985sq)My previous apartment was 1500sq town home and the highest utility was maybe $269 in the month of July. The reply when I reported that something must be wrong Linda kinda ------- off by saying " Everyone utility bill is high and that because it is really hot" Wrong answer the only reason for that is because the apartment owner is to CHEAP to replace these old ass AC units. So in other words the price is affordable for the space but you will spend that money in utility. So if your moving here say this may be the wrong choice. Don't get me wrong I'm not the type that like post anything but I have had it. If the management was more friendly and the maintance of the apartment was well keep I probably would stay I will be moving out at the end of next month. I count everyday , hour and second to leave this Hell hold. Again, to each it's own and most people will look at this as another person that's unhappy.I was so desperate to move closer to my job that I didn't have time to do my research. I would suggest to anyone looking to lease from this apartment complex to speak to so of the tenants before doing so. Don't let the model apartment get you trap into making a choice that you will regret later on like I did. I was amaze that my neighbor was having some of the same issue and was unhappy. I didn't know because you really hardly see your neighbor alot. Please do your research before renting these apartments are you will be posting your comments before or by the time your lease is up . If you not sure what your getting into sign a 6 months lease and see how you feel about the place. Also maybe if they stop spending all the money on the landscape and replace the AC maybe they will be able to keep some tenants.... Ready to move out Tenant

There has to be something wrong to make the utility bill so high, you should really do some major investigating for that price, I would not let that go on for so long, or for that price you could have broken the lease and moved somewhere else. I lived there for 3 years, just moved out this month, and I understand I was counting down the days too, but there has been a new management company take over in the past year and I was actually pretty happy with then they always called me back the same day, and were very quick to come fix things and fixed them correctly and with quality. The previous management company would fix things with old/used products and it would take them up to a week or more to even come look at it. For example my bathroom faucet leaked and the handles were broken I had the first people come out there twice and both times they replaced just the handles with old/used ones, but when they broke AGAIN the new people came out the same day and replaced the entire faucet.
Yes, there is mold everywhere, my tub had black mold in all the tile grooves and I could not get it out and there was mold on all the windows. So I am not recommending that anyone live here but the new management is alot better than the previous one and I can tell there were starting to be some major improvements. But of course you can only make 40 yr old apartment look so good without doing a complete remodel, and it is just not that kind of property. ANd just so you know i lived in a one bedroom and never had a utility bill over $100

I live in a 2 bedroom and our Utilities are really high. we've not used AC in the summer most days and waited a long time to turn on the heat when it got cold. We even only do laundry once a week to save on water. We've changed all our light bulbs to energy efficient bulbs--- yet our bill is always the same-- about 100 or more each. This complex is NOT worth paying over 400 bucks each month- especially when we're walking on glass trying not to use energy or water...
