Ok, so this complex is not all I thought it was going to be. My apartment is nice, but I do have some complaints...first of all PARKING! In a recent letter sent out by Ivy Chase Management they claim that they have "sufficient parking for residents." Now, if they had sufficient parking for their residents would they have to send out flyers practically once a week telling people that they have basically NO visitor parking and don't park in fire lanes or you will be towed' Do they honestly think that I would park in the freaking fire lane if I had a parking spot'! Then, they encourage you to 'secure a garage to 'guarantee' your parking' (for $40 per month!!!) and there is not a single garage close to my apartment. Needless to say, if you are a young female and not comfortable walking alone at night this is NOT the place for you.
IMPORTANT: Ivy Chase does NOT have enough parking for their residents, yet they claim that they do and encourage you to call the tow company if you can't find a spot. WTF!

474 parking spaces plus 65 garages = 549 available parking spaces and there are 546 bedrooms at ivy chase... hmmmmmmm i think that some one bedroom apartments have 2 people living in them which would mean that each person gets a parking permit sooooooooooooooooo basically NO ONE is EVER allowed a guest to stay over EVER... or a paying resident has to park illegally and get TOWED ...

I believe there are plenty of parking for residents. Every night there are numerous parking spots available you may have to walk but hello it will not kill you to exercise a bit. However 12 visitor parking spots for over 500 residents is rediculous!!! Also your comment about two people living in a one bedroom if that is the case they should be evicted. Your lease states you rent by the room and only one person is permitted on that lease. If there are two people living in a one bedroom then they still should only have one permit for parking. They are in violation of their lease. If you do not feel safe walking then maybe you should still live home with your parents. I have lived on my own for 6 years now and it really is not that dangerous here. The most I can complain about is the visitor parking. I mean I sat there tonight waiting for 2 hours just for a place for my friend to park which is rediculous.
