I am happily living at Ivy Commons since the last 2 years and I think this is the best place to leave around Campus. I am very happy that they have 0-tolerance policy to dog owners. I mean who likes to have a dog barking or fooling around the neighborhood while you are trying to study'

I am also very happy that they do not strictly enforce the parking permits since I do not want to deal with stupid car permits for my guests. I never had a parking problem. There is alwyas tons of parking space available. The Wolfline is next to my apartment. It takes only 15 minutes of walk or 5 minutes of bike ride to goto school.

I had some neighbors making noise but instead of talking to management or police, I talked them nicely and solved the issue. I had small issues with the house maintanence and the management solved all those issues without me paying anything for them. The rooms are big, and the living room is huge compared to other apartment complexes. I'd definetly recommend the apartment complex to anyone interested.

Your Ivy Commons experience is definitely very different. They obviously have no idea that half the people that live here have dogs. I'm not complaining that people have dogs because I love them and would like to have one of my own here, it's just inconsistent that when you try to talk to them and offer them more money for a deposit to have a dog, they turn you down. Also, it may have been easy for you to talk to your neighbors but mine did not speak English, at least when we attempted to talk to them about turning their music down. After talking to them, they began throwing their trash on my patio (including lit cigarettes into my ivy) which is when I involved management and the police. People have different experiences and things happen differently. Great, talking to your neighbors worked for you, but it didn't for me which is why I asked for help and there is nothing wrong with that.
