Not Bad for the Price

You get what you pay for here. I pay $545 a month for a 1 bedroom/1bath apartment with a small den. Since the buildings and appliances are older, I have an enormous electric bill. This winter, my electric bill was $200 a month!!!! I tried to conserve energy by turning the heat down to 60 degrees at night and and keep it on 68 or 70 degrees when I?m at home in the evening.
The bathroom is small, and the wallpaper needs to be replaced. I live on the bottom floor, and it's very dark and dreary with drab carpeting and curtains.
On the plus side, the staff is friendly, and it's a farily safe area. If you are on a budget, it's not too bad.... but be prepared for high electric bills in the winter and summer.
