I've lived here for 10 months. My power bills were about $200 from November to March, even though I kept the temperature at about 70 degrees. Our den that we wanted so much has no door, but nobody told us that in advance. You can hear absolutely everything that's going on in your neighbors' apartment, which is absolutely ridiculous. in addition to all these problems, this spring we have squirrels trying to get into our apartment through ventillation pipes. First, there were several of them making noise every night in our bathroom. After repeated complaints, Kensington called animal control. We have no more squarrels in the bathroom now, they moved to another wall, so now we only hear them in our bedroom:(
Kensington management is not that bad but they have a habit of threatening people with eviction. A simple note about the upcoming extermination will always end with the phraze, "if you fail to do it, you will be evicted". That's just driving me crazy!
Overall, it's not THAT bad if you're on a tight budget but I'm definitely moving out.
