My stay appears to be contrary to many of the reviews I have read. I lived at this complex for two years. In the obvious, the buildings are older, just as most of the other apartments in the vicinity of NC State. They did begin instituting some improvement projects.

I had issues with leaky pipes and even a busted water heater that leaked. I am pleased to say that my concerns were promptly resolved. One instance occurred during a holiday weekend. Maintainance was on site to begin troubleshooting within a matter of hours.

Outside, trees provide plenty of shade making the task of cooling my apartment relatively easy. This factor allowed me to save on cost of electric in the summer. Heating my apartment wasn't a problematic expense since I didnt get charged for water usage fees.

My biggest discrepancy was with parking. Parking was/still is by permit. Parking passes may have changed since I left. The concern is not with spaces, but with permits. You have to stay in the habit of hanging your pass in plane site/view. Obviously a personal problem for me, perhaps the management team will take that into consideration to making parking more tenant/visitor friendly.

The location makes the complex a steal. Movie theatres, NC State, grocery store, shops, and restaurants all within reasonable walking distance. As a runner, I had access to trails(leading to the park at Lake Johnson) and the hill -stricken streets in the area made excercising outside a must especially in the warmer months. This place seems to be a gem for college students, though not exclusively. Considering the price there are underlying benefits.

The best asset in my opinion is the management team. They were outstanding professionals. Trust me when I say this, because I am not easy to handle. The treated me with the upmost respect and bend over backwards to offer me exceptional service. Having moved around alot in the military, my experiences with them rank them among the best in taking care of #1, the tenant.

THE ONLY REASON I MOVED.....MILITARY OBLIGATION FORCED ME OUT OF THE AREA!
