Old Buildings, Nice Location

The location is great. Close to Lake Johnson and all the trails surrounding it. The buildings are old (early 1970s) and are very poorly insulated, which leads to very high heating/cooling bills. The carpet is old and very worn, which makes it hard to vacuum. The apartments are large and at a good value. The outside of the building was very dirty when I first moved in, but the complex was water-washed to clean off the dirt. The maintenance people are nice and always speedily respond to my requests. I do have a problem with the landscraping crew, though. The come too early in the morning with all their loud noises and often too close to my car, putting grass clippings on the car. The office staff is very helpful and respond quickly to my requests. If you value location and service and don't mind living in an old complex, Lake Johnson Mews is for you.
