I lived here for about six months, renting a 2 Bedroom 2.5 Bath "townhome" style apartment with a friend. The location was great-- we had a little trail right out the back door that went down to the park area. Very quiet and private. The wireless internet works fine for surfing the internet, but not so good for online gaming. I never really interacted with the staff except to pay rent.

Overall it was not bad. After living in several kinds of apartments over the years, I'd say the quality of my experience was about average for the price. The location is very nice.

Problem areas:
- When we first moved in, we drove up to the apartment on the specified day, with the rental truck filled up, only to find that we couldn't move in because they were still installing the new carpet. They gave us gift certificates for lunch as compensation. We still had to wait several hours, though, so moving in took a lot longer than expected.

- They told us we would have washer/dryer hookups, and space for the kind of full-size free-standing washer and dryer that I owned. However, when we arrived there, we found that the apartment already included a stack-style washer/dryer combo. In the process of repeatedly loading and unloading my existing equipment, my washing machine was destroyed.

- Maintenance could not fix the fireplace flue, resulting in cold air coming in during the winter.

- There was a bad faucet in one of the sinks that was never fixed.

- The maintenance guy promised us a lot of upgrades when we moved in, which we never received. We later found out that he had been fired because he would promise things to residents he wasn't supposed to.

- Lots of roaches and mosquitoes, but you'll get those anywhere in Raleigh.

- My roommate's bike was stolen.
