This complex is older and doesn't have the amenities of those new mega-complexes (a pool, weightroom, etc) but you can't beat it for the price and location. It is just minutes from anywhere in Raleigh (5 minutes to Crabtree, 15 minutes to Triangle Town Center and 10 minutes from Glenwood South and Cameron Village), and really really close to all the great restaurants and shops at North Hills! I've lived here for 7 months and it has been a very pleasant stay. Although I did not have any maintenance requests, they change the air filters and check the fire alarms regularly. The management team is fabulous and wonderful to work with. There is a diverse mixture of people here, young, old, families, singles. I have never felt unsafe. If I had it to do over again, I would definitely choose Lantern Square again.
