Laurel Oaks

 

I have lived in 3 different apartments in Laurel Oaks in the span of 5 1/2 years.

I have been through 2 apartment managers, and 3 property owners.

Both managers have been very agreeable to get along with, but sometimes the office staff (which seems to change very frequently) is less friendly, but over all the management is fairly good.

Maintenance is slow, and the property is older so lots of things have needed repair.

My AC seems to go out about once a year, and in every one of my apartments the hot water heater broke and had to be replaced.

However, for MAJOR problems like that, it has always been fixed same or next day even if it was a weekend.

Minor repairs could be a bit of a wait.

My neighbors have all been quiet, with one exception and those people were evicted after about 30 days.

You will find it very pet friendly, and the dog park is nice.

I was unhappy with the last property owners (Ram) but we just got bought again, so we will see if they are as anxious to overcharge for these apartments.

All I can say is after Ram took over, there were lots of empty apts.

I would say for the rent I pay, it's ok.

If prices start at more than $525 for the smallest 1 bedroom, keep looking.
