We've lived at Laurel Oaks for about a year and a half now and we love it here. I don't believe RAM owns the property anymore, and we have seen a great improvement in the friendliness of the office staff. I went to pick up a package yesterday and was greeted at the door, got asked how everything was with my apartment, and after reporting a maintenance issue, was walked all the way back to the door and wished a wonderful day. That was right before the end of the day and my maintenance issue was fixed when I got home today! They have always been very prompt at solving any issues, not that we have had many though. Towards the back of the complex especially is very quiet and we haven't had any neighbor problems. They are very pet friendly (and affordable)here and welcome large dogs which is awesome, as not many places in Raleigh seem to accept dogs over 30 lbs (especially not more than one). I would definately recommend Laurel Oaks to anyone, especially if you have pets.

You have to be kidding, or else you're the manager. Parking is a nightmare. There are teenagers hanging out in the parking lots all night. Theft is rampant. Laurel Oaks is scary, and the management couldn't care less. I had to hire my own electrician to repair non working sockets, because although I had been complaining for SIX MONTHS, nobody did anything about it. I believe there's a law that says a bathroom without a window MUST have an exhaust fan. Mine has never worked, and I've been there two years now. I keep getting promises, promises.... and rent raises. Never again. Laurel Oaks has a lot of empty apartments for a very good reason!
