My wife lived in Laurel Oaks before we got married(back in 2002).At first we resided in the smaller one bedroom, then after accepting vows as man and wife we decided we needed more space, so we moved into a larger one bed room. It was at that point it all went down hill from there. the truth is as follows: Non-working A/C,the water heater ruptured TWICE, flooding the apartment. The kitchen and bathroom floor still needs to be replaced, even after several submitted request. The maintinence service has an extremly high turn-over; we counted at least 6 in the past year. To top it off the price to move to a two-beedroom apartment changed within 20 minutes of calling to the office, even after we comfirmed the online price, inquiring about moving within the same complex. " The price offerd was a mistake, it will be more than we told you and you will have to pay for breaking your lease and a trasnfer fee plus a new deposit if you want to move to a bigger apartment".

Sounds about right to me. I've experienced many of the exact same difficulties. Can't wait for my lease to be up this fall; I'm outta here!
