When I moved into this apartment complex, like most people, it seemed great. But once I actually set foot in my own unit, I realized that it was a huge mistake. First off, there are holds where my flooring is uneven. Walking into the laundry room there was a huge hole in the wall, which they fixed by drilling a piece of cardboard, yes I said DRILLING cardboard over it and spray painting it white. The disposal did not work at all just about. And the patio... forget it! I was on a ground unit, and the concrete patio was crumbling, if you stop by my unit you can see the good basketball sized hole. When you step out there, it sinks and crunches with every step. In the summer, when you have to run the AC a lot because of all the drafts coming through the shotty molding around windows and doors, my carpet gets wet because the AC leaks, so I have a puddle the size of my hallway, making my whole apartment smell like mold. And if you get lonely while your here... don't worry because there is always a rather large supply of bugs to keep you company. If it's not the massive cockroaches crawling into your kitchen, it's the steady stream of ants I got into my bathroom through the crack in my tub. And if the bugs arn't your thing, good chances are your going to have some pretty loud neighbors. Take mine for example, the one that lives above me. I got to enjoy her parties that lasted until 5 am on Sunday mornings.Not only did my boyfriend have to park at the other end of the complex because of her friends but, I got to enjoy the screaming of her friends, and the fact that they threw ALL of their beer cups *under aged drinking parties* and cigarette butts down onto my useles patio, which because of the drafts, made my whole apartment smell like smoke. The staff is nice... nice and useless. I called about the 4 or 5 time about all of these problems, and most of all to tell the manager that I felt sooo sorry for the person that got my unit next, about the girl's party and the trash coating my patio. She simply said. "I'm sorry" and said she would have them come by to clean it up... I haven't seen a member of maintanence or anyone in months. If you are looking to move into apartments, please please PLEASE think twice. It's over priced and under kept.
